Small Boys & Small Girls :
In Ghana much of the things we take for granted in America are not available. Most everything is done using manual labor. In developing countries such as Ghana the children are often made to do this labor. On the face this may seem cruel but it is a fact of life here. Small boy/girl is the term used to describe a child that is assigned to help you with all this manual labor. Accustomed to doing such manual labor they are more often than not happy to help you. As teachers it is customary for the students to help with these types of tasks. At our home-stays the children of the family were more than happy to help. Most of us feel guilty and give them stuff or pay them outright. ...Will be continued!!!
